  • The planetary governor of the small mining colony requests a Starfleet vessel come by, but in the excitement and fear of their discovery does not state why. Starfleet sends the Beowulf suspecting a larger problem on the colony. The governor is surprised to find that the Beowulf is ignorant that dilithium has been discovered. It seems the Romulans got the news as quickly as Starfleet and send one of their cruisers to put in a claim for the goods.
