Come on in and join us today in continuing the dream begun in 1966. Return back to the foundation upon which Star Trek was begun. The USS Beowulf is a PBBB sim set in the TOS Movie era in 2282. The ship is to be stationed in No Man's Land (The Golden Triangle), the sector of space where the Federation meets with the Klingon and Romulan Empires.
Welcome to our new site. We are still updating. There will be a full ship's tour, ship recognition manuals for ships of the era, a timeline and more coming up.

The other good news is we have quite a few nominations in the annual Horizon Fleet awards. First off the Beowulf has been nominated for Sim of the Year. Wow. We also have some individuals in the running with yours truly nominated for CO of the Year and Lt. Commander Vron nominated for character of the year. Captain Newkirk is not above rubbing his luck rabbit's foot to wish all good luck.
Our last announcement is a bit more depressing. Once again we are without an XO or a medical officer. I'm hoping I can get these positions filled quickly.

quality posts during the month of December, and as a result, reflects
well on the Task Group. ."
The Horizon Fleet yearly awards are coming out as well. I will be making a nomination for character of the Year. I won't announce who that is until after the decision by the fleet has been made. Anyone in the fleet can make a nomination for CO, XO or character of the year. Simply submit them to our dpa (dpa AT horizonfleet DOT net) by Wednesday February 11.
